We build a small MCP server that connects Claude to Tekmetric's partner API using credentials issued by Tekmetric, a client ID and secret exchanged for a bearer token under OAuth 2.0, tested in sandbox before touching production. Read tools and write tools are separated, so shop questions never modify anything. The write surface is deliberately narrow, matching the API: appointment creation and status changes, each gated behind your approval. The connector never exceeds what your credentials allow.
