How a Tally connector works
We build a small MCP server that authenticates to Tally with a scoped API key or OAuth where available, using the narrowest access the work needs. Read tools (list forms, read submissions) and write tools (create form, update fields, export) are separated, and destructive or outbound actions require your confirmation. Claude only ever has the access your own Tally account already has, and the server can sit behind IP allowlisting if you need it.
