Read tools (read range, list sheets) and write tools (write range, add formula, append row) are separated, and destructive actions like deleting a sheet are gated behind your confirmation. Claude only ever has the access your own Microsoft account already has, and the server can run behind IP allowlisting if your tenant requires it.
