Full read-write Claude connector for Cal.com
Make Claude create, reschedule, and manage bookings in Cal.com
Stop opening the Cal.com dashboard to move every meeting by hand. Claude books on the right event type, reschedules and cancels with attendees intact, and adjusts your availability, with cancel and notify waiting for your approval.
Cal.com is an open scheduling platform for booking meetings across event types, teams, and connected calendars. People want Claude to do more than read availability: to create and reschedule bookings, adjust event types, and manage availability on their behalf.
What is a Cal.com MCP server?
A Cal.com MCP server is a small hosted service that exposes Cal.com's data and actions to Claude over the Model Context Protocol, so Claude can calendars and appointments inside your own account. We build it as a custom connector with separate read and write tools, and destructive actions stay gated behind your approval.
What can Cal.com's current connector do today?
Today, Cal.com's Claude options tend to be read-leaning or a thin slice: Claude may surface availability or upcoming bookings, but creating, rescheduling, and cancelling bookings or editing event types is often limited or unavailable. A custom Cal.com connector adds those write actions with scoped, human-in-the-loop controls, so Claude works inside the schedule.
What does full read-write Cal.com access unlock?
Full read-write Cal.com access lets Claude create a booking on the right event type, reschedule or cancel an existing one, add an attendee or guests to a booking, and adjust availability and event-type settings, once you approve. The back-and-forth that used to mean opening the dashboard happens where the schedule already lives.
- Create a booking on a specific event type with the right attendees and time
- Reschedule an existing booking to a new slot, keeping attendees intact
- Cancel a booking and notify attendees after you approve
- Update an event type's duration, location, or availability window
- Add an attendee or guests to an existing booking
- Find every booking matching a query and propose batched changes
Can Claude create and reschedule bookings in Cal.com?
Yes. Claude can create a booking on a specific event type with the right attendees and time, and reschedule an existing booking to a new slot while keeping attendees intact. The default options tend to be read-leaning, which is why creating and rescheduling bookings needs a purpose-built connector.
Can Claude update an event type or availability in Cal.com?
Yes. Claude can update an event type's duration, location, or availability window, and adjust availability settings on your behalf. It can also add an attendee or guests to an existing booking, so the changes you used to make in the dashboard happen where the schedule already lives.
Will Claude cancel a Cal.com booking or notify attendees without my approval?
No. Cancel and attendee notifications are separate, gated write actions. Claude can prepare the change, but it only goes through after you confirm it. You decide which actions run automatically and which require approval, and the connector never has more access than your own Cal.com account.
How a Cal.com connector works
We build a small MCP server that authenticates to Cal.com with OAuth or a scoped API key, using the narrowest access the work needs. Read tools (availability, list bookings) and write tools (create, reschedule, cancel) are separated, and destructive or outbound actions like cancel or notify require your confirmation. Claude only ever has the access your own Cal.com account already has.
